The Testimony of Faithful Mormons Who Have Found the True Christ!

Tomorrow we celebrate the Easter Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, I share with you the greatest gift I have ever received–the knowledge that all my sins were washed away by the blood of Christ.

I once believed as you do now, that if I just worked hard enough I could gain forgiveness through the LDS process of Repentance. But now, I know the truth. Forgiveness is only obtained through faith in the shed blood of Jesus–our perfect Substitute Sacrifice.

I bear my testimony to you that all your sins were forgiven over 2,000 years ago–at the Cross!!! Christ’s perfect life was offered as the final sacrifice for the sins of the entire world. Heavenly Father accepted His offering and raised Him from the dead! The day I learned this truth was the day I met my Lord and Savior Jesus, over fifteen years ago. Then and there I gave my heart and life to Him and I have never looked back. Because He cleansed me of all my sins, I love Him more than any one or any thing. I bear witness to you that there is nothing that compares to this relationship with Jesus.

Today, I challenge you to turn to God’s Words found in the Bible and search it with an open mind and heart. You might not know this, but there are many Mormons who have found their true Savior simply by doing this.

Last night I watched an amazing video, which shares the testimonies of faithful Mormons who found their Savior this way. By studying God’s Word, they have had a “life-changing encounter with the living Jesus Christ”. I beg you to watch this video! I promise you that your life will never be the same.

The website that shares this video explains it with these words:

“”What if what you’ve believed your whole life isn’t the real Christ? Truth is everything. It does have eternal consequences!”

Eight individuals…devoted, faithful Mormons with unshakable testimonies and a sincere love for the LDS Church…now say that they have found something greater–something beyond compare.

What could possibly cause them to abandon what they had always held near and dear? What could make them step away from the very foundation of their lives? What life could they have possibly found beyond Mormonism?

Come hear their stories. It may not be what you’re thinking.”
Click here and it will take you to the video–“Unveiling Grace”

Along with their testimony, I share also the testimony of the Apostle Peter, who was an eye witness of Christ’s death. He testifies that we receive forgiveness through faith–not works:

“And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”(Acts 10:39-43)

And with joy, I share the Apostle John’s testimony of our Lord and Savior’s witness:

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (Revelation 1:5-6)

I loved the challenge. Read the Bible as a CHILD…. and try to prove that the LDS church is true using ONLY THE BIBLE.

Shem, I am praying for you today, that you could take this challenge.

Nicely done. I just ordered a dozen copies of this DVD for members of my church to view and to share with Mormon missionaries. I would encourage others viewing this video to do the same. There is something uniquely compelling about these former Mormons sharing their testimony of coming out of the Mormon faith into Christianity.

It is an amazing video! I have watched it several times, and each time I have been brought to tears. I think what is so compelling about their stories, is the fact that none of these people had problems with the LDS church prior to their conversion to Christianity. They did not leave Mormonism because someone or something caused them to be upset; nor did they leave because they were struggling with specific sin areas.

As they said, they loved the church! But, when they met the true Savior, that love became meaningless to them. In comparison to what they found in Christ, Mormonism was nothing. I think it amazing the similarities between the Apostle Paul’s story and theirs. Paul was a Jew who strongly loved his Church and its teachings. He believed as the church leaders of his time taught; that you could become righteous by keeping God’s commandments. But then Jesus came into his life and it was all meaningless to him. He gave it all up and gave his life to Christ.

That is what these people have done. All their lives they had believed what their church leaders taught–that they could be righteous by keeping the laws of Mormonism. But now that they have found the true Christ, they know that they have already been made righteous through their faith in Christ! When you meet the true Christ who has done all things for you–your life will never be the same. Only then can you even come close to understanding what true love really is.

The other thing amazing about their story is that it’s really God’s story. As the woman said, God had it all planned in the beginning. There will be hundreds if not thousands of Mormons who will find Christ through their testimonies. All to the glory of our amazing God!!

I watched the video and was truly touched by it. What I really loved was that they began to read the Bible and that’s how they came to see the truth.

Shem, still praying that God opens your eyes and heart to His wonderful redeeming effective sacrificial love. Praying that the magnitude of what Jesus did would be revealed to you. Praying that God would bless you and your family in mighty ways… praying also for your wife and your children, that the Lord would bring you all into the LIGHT of His truth.

I am deeply touched by the comments about the video. I know all of the participants. I ran into this blog while searching for the book “unveiling grace” which was recently released by Zondervan. It was written by one of the participants in the video, Lynn Wilder, who is the Mother of Micah and Matt, the mother in-law of Joseph, and the wife of Mike. Rlofferdahl, you should contact the band Adam’s Road about coming to your church. God Bless

    Hi Stefan,

Guess what? The band was here just last month–July 18th, and I was able to go. I was so delighted to meet the band members and was even blessed to meet Lynn in person because she was there also.

I was mostly surprised at how musically talented they are. It is amazing to see, over and over again, how God equips us with whatever tools we need to show our love for Jesus as we serve Him doing what He has called us to do. Isn’t it fun?

I am also challenged by a disease I have and so in order to be able to attend, I took my highest allowed dosage of medicine. But I felt a little bad afterwards—-I was very medicinee-head and didn’t even take the opportunity to talk to individual members about their lives and stresses. But as always I Praise the Lord for His Healing.

Thanks, Stefan for your email. In Christ, Becki
