Preparing for Exaltation Teacher’s Manual

* Do we have to forgive others before we can receive forgiveness? (page 46):

• What can we learn from Jesus’ words “forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors”? (We should always pray with a repentant attitude. We must forgive others to be able to receive forgiveness ourselves.)

Test these LDS Words with Biblical Truth:

Our God of love has freely forgiven all people through Christ’s Atonement. This gift is received the moment you come to faith in Jesus. “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” (Acts 10:43)
